The Butte Ag Foundations mission is to further the educational outreach of the agricultural community. We feel that the continued education of students and consumers is paramount to the success of agriculture in our communities.

Our Programs

The Butte Agriculture Foundation looks forward to supporting locally organized agriculture groups by providing the resources and services needed to be successful in their efforts to inform and promote the value of our agrarian community

Donate to the CARTEL Junior Livestock Auction Fund

The CARTEL Junior Livestock Auction Fund uses donations from businesses and individuals to support local 4-H, FFA and Grange youth exhibitors by purchasing animal projects at the Silver Dollar Fair Junior Livestock Auction. The CARTEL is a program of the Butte Ag Foundation, Inc., a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization.

What Is The Big Harvest?

The Big Harvest is an agriculture community fundraising drive benefiting local nonprofit agriculture organizations that takes place from November 1st through December 31st. The Big Harvest aims to make a dollar worth more than a dollar, by helping nonprofits earn more money to achieve their good work and providing donors the opportunity to leverage their generosity for a higher return. The Big Harvest not only provides a fundraising avenue for the agriculture community, but also teaches local organizations how to fund raise, especially youth organizations. With financial support from generous seed sponsors, the Butte Agriculture Foundation has cultivated a pool of funds to serve as matching funds for this community-wide agricultural fundraising drive.
